A Plus is the most common kind of spirit. These are considered the good kind of spirits, souls of people that have passed away and ready to be sent to Soul Society by the Shinigami. Once arrived at Soul Society, each soul is systemtically assigned a certain place in Soul Society’s outskirts to go to. Because of this, people that were once family in the real world, are sent to seperate places in Soul Society. Due to the large amount of souls there, it is very hard for a spirit to find back souls of people that were his or her family during life on earth. That is why in Soul Society a lot of souls live together and call each other their family, while they’ve never met each other when they were alive.
