I. Essential Soubi: at first sight

Soubi is quite tall and of slender build. He has a face that is easy on the eyes (very) and silky, long hair. He wears round glasses and prefers tight clothes, he knows how to look good in them too; especially when it comes to t-sleeved sweaters with a high collar. When wearing low collar shirts and sweaters, he usually wears bandages around his neck. Now, for a closer look at Soubi’s trademark assets starting from the top.

Hair
Soubi’s hair eyes light and smooth. It looks like he takes very good care of it using a hair conditioner besides the regular shampoo for extra softness. His hair reaches past shoulder length and he wears it most of the time down. When he’s at home, doing house choirs or busy painting, his hair can be found tied in a pony tail with a little string.

Glasses
Soubi’s eyes travel behind a pair of spectacles. His glasses are round and have a funny kink in the legs close to the front frame. He usually takes his glasses off when he’s in battle.

Neck
One of Soubi’s more controversial trades is the extensive set of scars in the lower parts of his neck. The scars consist the word ’beloved’ in capital letters, with depictions of what appears to be barbed wire positioned above the words. Usually these scars are nicely tucked away behind a high collar or hidden from sight with a set of bandages. Only in battle does Soubi rip off these bandages as to expose his scars. A peculiar thing is that the scars bleed whenever Soubi fights a battle, apparently they hurt quite a bit as well then. It should be mentioned that given Soubi’s past, these are probably not the only physical scars he’s carrying on his body.

Hands
It is rather amazing what important things Soubi’s hands can achieve. As described by Ritsuka, they are warm and dry and probably the first pair that have held him with genuine care. Soubi’s hands are pale and slender and they are his essential tool when painting. Besides that, Soubi uses his hands to direct his attacks during battle.
