Soubi’s clothing is quite distinctive and complement his charming image. His wardrobe is tight clothes with overall dark, subdued tones. I went ahead and highlighted some of Soubi’s clothing ensembles. Just because I like fashion, and then a leap more when it applies to Soubi. Look one
This look is the one in which Soubi makes his appearance in the story. It consists of a long coat with black frilled collar and sleeve ends, shirt and pants that have wide pipes. He is wearing some sort of heeled boots underneath. In the anime, the coat is dark purple and the shirt is mellow green.
Look two
This time, Soubi wears a light coloured, half long rain coat accompanied by a long horizontally striped muffler. Underneath, he wears a dark, rather tight sweater with high collar. What kind of pants or shoes he is wearing, is not very clearly shown.
Look three
Soubi has changed the long trench coats for a trendy sports jacket, wearing dark pants (again they eye tight) and black shoes.
Look four
The infamous pony tail look. Soubi wears a t-sleeved black sweater with high collar and black pants (leather maybe, just a wild guess). He seems to wear this often when he is at home. What is most interesting about this look is definitely his hair pulled up in a high pony tail. Instead of the loose pony tail he makes of his hair while cooking, this one seems nicely done. What is funny to consider is that the high collar sweater wouldn’t look half as good on him if he had his hair down instead of tied together. We might be able to say that Soubi knows like no other how to achieve the attractive sexy with just a few simple adjustments.
There is also the loose ponytail he has now and then, a slight variant to the pony tail look.
Look five
Soubi wears a black v-neck sweater and black pants. The sweater seems a more loose fit this time. It is in this ensemble that Soubi gets his ears pierced by Ritsuka.
Look six
This is one of Soubi’s attires he wears when he enters a battle. It is rather simple; dark pants and what seems to be a shirt-like coat with again, a bit of a high collar. I think the shirt is to give the illusion that he’s not wearing anything more underneath it (ooh la la).
Look seven
Different from the battle look before, this time he wears a light rain coat reaching just above his knees, with what seems to be a comfortable, striped sweater underneath. Again, the sweater has high collar; at this point, I suspect that Soubi bought every clothing variant of the high collar available in stores that season.
Look eight
This look, in which he enters another battle, is one of the fewer times that we can see Soubi wearing something that blatantly exposes his neck. It’s a loose fitting black button shirt accompanied by black coloured pants and shoes.
