Glassforte has been laying around for some time, while I’ve been running off in real life, leaving this domain to just, sit there. However I have been thinking about how I want to continue with glassforte. And the result of that thinking is a format change. I started off as a ‘blogger’ in the online animanga community, and to me it is still the most suiting format for the kind of site owner that I am. I had plans to turn my previous blog (http://aquarel.org/log) into this music/movie log, then I wanted to dedicate my Vox account to a music/literature log, adding some photography stuff onto it. And to once and for all cut this ‘Lala I plan to make this a ..-log, or lala that -log’ short, I’m going to turn my mainframe into that ‘media log’. I like music, movies, books, fashion, photography, news, japanese culture, manga, anime.. and I noticed that I like writing about that particular thing that I’ve read, seen, listened to. Whether it is ‘fangirling’, slightly reviewing, recommending.

So, glassforte.com’s mainframe becomes the place where I’ll post about contemporary media & culture items that at the moment happen to interest me; be it part of the Japanese, Korean, Chinese, American, English etc. pop, alternative, indie, traditional culture. But glassforte will also keep its standard collective domain format; the sites I have and plan to make will all stay. And besides the mainframe, this domain will still stick to its former domain content. In the end, I admit, this change is also to keep my domain alive just a little more than it has been now. Because I think I can still blog more often than that I make crystal clear visible changes to parts of the domain itself. Sooo, why not integrate it? Plus, I noticed that when making LJ posts, half of the time I’ve been talking about music lately, hrm. My LJ account by the way, will also stay as it is.

Right, so this was a test post.. testing, testing, testing ….
